Booker & Beyond: The Professor Tim Piano Series - Darrell Lavigne

Darrell Lavigne is a fixture in the New Orleans music scene. He studied under renowned symphonic composer Roger Dickerson and was selected by New Orleans Magazine as “Best Contemporary Pianist and Jazz All Star” in 2002. As an accomplished pianist, Lavigne has performed with seasoned performers such as Kirk Whalum, Bill Summers, and Alvin Batiste, as well as composed for film projects and leading New Orleans jazz and pop musicians. We are thrilled to have him on the Ellis Marsalis Center for Music stage.

Tickets: $15 General Admission | $45 Reserved Seating  | $5 Student Tickets

Concerts for All: Special discounted tickets are available for senior citizens and New Orleans residents receiving SNAP benefits. A valid benefits card and photo ID required to purchase discounted tickets for $3.00 per person. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets can be purchased online but must be redeemed at the door by showing valid ID.

Guests are welcome to take photos and short video clips for personal enjoyment. When sharing on social media, we appreciate if you could tag both the Center and the artist. Please be aware that the Center retains the right to restrict photography and videography upon the request of artists or performers.
