Booker & Beyond: The Professor Tim Piano Series - Michael Torregano

Tuesday, October 20 | 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

We are THRILLED to have our own Associate Director of Music Education, Dr. Torregano, performing at the Ellis Marsalis Center for Music! Dr. Torregano is a New Orleans-based jazz pianist and educator who has been in love with music since he was a child. A pianist since the age of four, Dr. Torregano is still motivated by music every day of his life. “My goal is to make people feel good about themselves and their current situations through my music.”

Tickets: $15 General Admission | $45 Reserved Seating | $10 Senior Ticket (55+) | $5 Student Ticket

To help ensure that cost is never a barrier, a limited number of $3 community tickets are available at the box office on the day of the performance. Additionally, New Orleans residents with SNAP/EBT may purchase $3 day-of tickets at the box office by presenting their benefits card.

Ticket Pricing Update: For 13 years, we have been proud to offer discounted senior tickets for just $3. As of September 2026, senior tickets are now $10, helping us to sustain the high-quality musical experiences at the Ellis Marsalis Center for Music. Proceeds from every ticket sold directly support the musicians performing on our stage as well as help sustain our education program and community services. Thank you for your continued support.

Guests are welcome to take photos and short video clips for personal enjoyment. When sharing on social media, we appreciate if you could tag both the Center and the artist. Please be aware that the Center retains the right to restrict photography and videography upon the request of artists or performers. Commercial photography and videography are strictly prohibited, and the use of flash is not allowed. Thank you for your cooperation.
