Ricardo Pascal is a saxophonist, composer, arranger, and educator rooted in the Black American tradition—a blend of swing, bebop, blues, R&B, and soul, all woven together with the heartbeat of New Orleans music. A longtime member of Marcus Roberts’ Modern Jazz Generation and Judith Owen and the Gentlemen Callers, he has also performed with artists such as Dee Dee Bridgewater, Herlin Riley, and Phillip Manuel. We’re thrilled to have him at the Ellis Marsalis Center for Music.

Ticket Pricing Update: For 13 years, we have been proud to offer discounted senior tickets for just $3. Beginning in September 2026, senior tickets will increase to $10 to help sustain the quality of the musical experiences we offer. Proceeds from every ticket sold directly support the musicians performing on our stage as well as help sustain our education program and community services. Thank you for your continued support.

Concerts for All: Special discounted tickets are available for senior citizens and New Orleans residents receiving SNAP benefits. A valid benefits card and photo ID required to purchase discounted tickets for $10.00 per person. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets can be purchased online but must be redeemed at the door by showing valid ID.

Guests are welcome to take photos and short video clips for personal enjoyment. When sharing on social media, we appreciate if you could tag both the Center and the artist. Please be aware that the Center retains the right to restrict photography and videography upon the request of artists or performers. Commercial photography and videography are strictly prohibited, and the use of flash is not allowed. Thank you for your cooperation.
