James Jordan and the Situation

On Tuesday, December 2 at 6:30pm, we’ll have James Jordan and the Situation on the Ellis Marsalis Center for Music stage. James Jordan is a New Orleans vocalist whose wide-ranging sound blends R&B, funk, and swing into a rich, soulful experience. Known for his vocal versatility and intimate performance style, he brings a fresh voice to the city’s music scene. His debut album of original work, Reflections, is set for release this January with his band, James Jordan and The Situation. We're thrilled to have them here at the Ellis Marsalis Center for Music.

Tickets: $15 General Admission | $45 Reserved Seating  | $5 Student Tickets

Concerts for All: Special discounted tickets are available for senior citizens and New Orleans residents receiving SNAP benefits. A valid benefits card and photo ID required to purchase discounted tickets for $3.00 per person. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets must be reserved in advance by calling 504.940.3400.

Guests are welcome to take photos and short video clips for personal enjoyment. When sharing on social media, we appreciate if you could tag both the Center and the artist. Please be aware that the Center retains the right to restrict photography and videography upon the request of artists or performers. Commercial photography and videography are strictly prohibited, and the use of flash is not allowed. Thank you for your cooperation.
